Giant centipede eating mouse 2

This is another species of giant centipede, a full-grown scolopendra viridicornis killing and eating a mouse. Centipedes have very poor eyesight and this mouse was very adept at staying out of harms way so we had to use a long feather to help it out a little. I certainly would not have had to if I didn't have a large piece of wood in its habitat. Note that the centipede is very ambidextrous and actually catches the prey with its hind legs first, and then doesn't bite it until it has located it's throat. ***I've grown very tired of reading posts from people, who, despite being outraged by it watch anyways, and then, in a fit of internet bravado cannot resist the urge to write some asinine comment. If you don't like it, don't watch it. For those that do appreciate the video and have defended it -- thank you. All the best.***
